Why Signum exists

Online scams are getting harder to spot. A site can look completely legitimate — professional design, valid SSL, plausible domain name — and still be stood up last week by someone in a different country with no intention of delivering anything.

The signals that matter aren't visible on the surface. They're in the domain registration date, the SSL certificate issuer, the IP neighbourhood, whether the domain has ever appeared in threat intelligence feeds, whether the business actually exists. Checking all of this manually takes time most people don't have.

Signum does it in seconds. Paste any domain and get a risk score, a verdict, and a plain-English explanation of what the data actually means for you.

What we check

Every scan runs 15+ checks in parallel and synthesises the results with AI. No single source tells the whole story — a site can be clean on VirusTotal and still be a brand-new phishing operation.

Who built this

A
Aleks Asenov
Founder & CEO · Sofia, Bulgaria
I built Signum after seeing too many people — friends, family, clients — lose money to sites that looked entirely legitimate. I have a background in AI research and executive operations, and I wanted to build something that gives ordinary people the same level of domain intelligence that security professionals use every day, without requiring any technical knowledge to interpret it.

Our principles

Signum is ad-free. We don't sell your data. We don't accept payment to alter scan results. The verdict you get is based entirely on what the data shows — nothing else.

We're transparent about what we don't know. If confidence is low, we say so. If a site is new but clean, we say that too. The goal is to give you accurate information, not to scare you unnecessarily.

If you spot an error — a legitimate site flagged incorrectly, or a scam that slipped through — let us know. False positives matter and we take them seriously.
